On Wednesday April 6, Akita University conducted an orientation for the fiscal year of 2016 at the Akita Prefectural Hall. This orientation is held after the entrance ceremony every year to inform students about the student life support that each department provides and encourage them to use it actively.
At the orientation, Vice-president/Director Motoyuki Shitanda talked about student life specifically. Director Masato Fushimi, of the University Health Center talked about physical and mental health care, and Assistant president Hikari Fujii talked about studying abroad.
The new students listened carefully so that they could use the advice in their new lives as students.
