The Akita University Career Support Division held a Career Guidance seminar titled, "How to Proceed - Career Guidance Explanation and Notes on Job Hunting" on Thursday April 21. There was a total of 136 students in attendance.
This time the seminar was given about "How to Proceed in Job Hunting from Now On". The students were told about what they need to be mindful of when they start job hunting and the importance of early preparation. The students were also informed about future Career Guidance seminars, how they relate to the coming steps in job hunting, and when they will be held.
At the end of the seminar, the students were asked to fill out a questionnaire. In their responses one student said, "I could clearly see what job hunting is like." Another student said, "Attending the seminar resolved my insecurities."
The Akita University Career Support Division will hold more Career Guidance seminars. We invite you to please actively participate in these seminars.
If you could not attend the seminar this time, we have a DVD of the seminar available for rental. Feel free to come to the Career Support Division and ask us for it.
