Career Guidance” Advice from the Seniors”

On May 19th, Career Support Division held a second career guidance for freshman to junior of undergraduate and freshman of graduate school. Total of 82 students (including graduate students) participated.
By inviting students who already received a job offer as a lecturer, they gave a speech of their own recruiting activities.
3 lecturers, 2 students from Program in International Language and Culture Studies and a student from Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering and Resource Science made a speech of procedure, what they regret, and what to prepare from the early stage to start participating in recruiting activities.
Feedbacks from the students were “Very useful for understanding the flow of job hunting.”, “It was good to understand the steps of job hunting for graduate students.” and others.
Commonly recruiting activities are scheduled as lifting the ban of information in March and screening process in June however there are companies who start earlier. Our advice is making preparation from the early stage referring to today’s lecturer’s episode.

Next career guidance is scheduled on May 26th “Internship Program”.
