Akita University Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine has been accepting medical interns from Republic of Belarus according to the agreement between Akita University and Belarusian State Medical University.
On December 27th, 2 medical interns who are to complete the internship in January 6th made a courtesy call on President Fumio Yamamoto to report outcomes of the internship along with Akira Miura, Representative of Japan Belarus Friendship Association.
Akita University concluded an international exchange agreement with Belarusian State Medical University in the year 2004.
