On July 30th, Akita University held an Open Campus at Tegata and Hondo Campus.
This is a third time after university established new system with four faculties (Faculty of International Resource Sciences, Education and Human Studies, Medicine and Engineering Science). Approximately 3,000 high school students visited from in and out of Akita Prefecture.
Overview of each faculty, introduction of the laboratories and mock lessons were held.
A counseling corner by the staff for entrance exam, scholarship and job hunting, a counseling corner by the student were set up. At the special stage, student’s performance of dance and songs, Akita Kanto performance attracted attention of the visitors.
