As a regional base for innovation, the Cooperative Research Center provides comprehensive support for turning the seeds of outstanding research into practical uses and ensuring that society benefits from these achievements through regional revitalization. In addition to performing such functions as generating awareness of these seeds of research, providing support for the acquisition of research funds, coordinating joint research with businesses, acquiring rights from patent applications resulting from outstanding research achievements, and transferring the technologies resulting from this research to the business world, the center also holds consultations on matters relating to science and technology and hosts techno-seminars.
