The Graduate School of Engineering and Resource Science offers a Master’s degree program consisting of 7 departments and a Doctorate degree program consisting of 4 departments. Our graduates focus on specialized study and research in the fields of technology for industry, the global society, and the regional community. Jobs in the field of technology and engineering are rapidly increasing both in the regional and global markets. The ratio of employment offers for people with technical graduate and postgraduate degrees is increasing year by year. Our graduate school has been producing highly-trained people who can play an active part in society with creativity,planning ability, and executive ability as well as knowledge and technique.

Throughout Japan, the Faculty of Engineering and Resource Science is known for its unique specialty in mining.

The faculty is composed of both the department related to earth resources, which deals with the global problems of resources, the environment, and energy, and the department related to engineering which deals with advanced technology and complex technology.
