The International Student Welcome Party

Getting to know other students
On April 3, Akita University welcomed newly enrolled international students with an orientation session.
Participants received helpful guidance on university life and learned about the support services available on campus. Student volunteers also led a campus tour, helping everyone get acquainted with key locations and feel more comfortable as they begin their new academic and daily life at the University.
We also held a welcome party for international students on April 10. In a relaxed atmosphere, an Akita-themed quiz and conversation time helped new international students connect with senior students and faculty members. Although some students seemed a little nervous at first, the event soon turned into a warm and friendly gathering, filled with smiles and new connections.
