The Research-and-Development (R&D) Department of the Joint Research Center for Electric Architecture aims to carry out comprehensive research and development of aircraft systems. Led mainly by researchers at Akita University and Akita Prefectural University, the department undertakes the following tasks and facilitates joint research with organizations in Japan and overseas.
