Cultivation of human resources who can contribute to the local revitalization

  1. Cultivation of human resources who can act for the revitalization of the local community in diverse fields such as private companies and governmental agencies, by perceiving current situations and issues of aging population, falling birth rate and depopulation.
  2. Cultivation of human resources who can draw up plans of local activities and carry out the plans for the reconstruction of the local community where better lives are ensured, by perceiving current situations and issues of aging population, falling birth rate and depopulation.
  3. Cultivation of human resources who can find and reevaluate the local culture and accordingly can make proposals of countermeasures for sustainable use and control of the cultural resources and environment.

Features of the Education Method

  1. Our education is focused on the statistical processing, field works, etc, to a develop clearer understanding of the actual status of the local community and the problems to be solved.
  2. Our education is focused on functionally linking corporate/government trainings to the studying/researching procedure, so that solutions searched and proposed for the local life issues would not be ineffective ones which are far from the local community's reality and sense.
  3. Our education is focused on learning the results of various traditional sciences, with which students can correctly recognize the positioning of the local life characteristics and issues in the current society, current life and the combination of the history and space.
  4. In the guidance for exercises and preparation for graduation theses, we aim to cultivate human resources who can propose solutions for local issues and have the application ability to cope with various local life issues and further to plan and construct interregional communication.
