On May 22nd, at North Eastern Region Judo Champion Ship, Akita University’s Judo Club men’s team won second place and women team with 3 members won first place. They moved on to All Japan University Judo Champion Ship.
Men’s team has been participating in the national tournament for more than 10 times, this time aiming to survive the first match. Women team with 3 members is aiming for making the final eight 2years in a row.
Judo club with member of 9 men and 2 women are keeping in practice to prepare for the All Japan Champion Ship to be held in June 25th and 26th in Nippon Budokan, Tokyo.
