JSPS Core-to-Core Program Research Seminar was held (Online)

 

On Wednesday, November 24, a research seminar was held (online) for the JSPS Core-to-Core Program entitled "Establishment of Research and Education Hub to Develop Young Researchers on Mining Informatics for Sustainable Resource Development in Middle Asian Countries”. The total of 24 participants from overseas partner institutions, and Japanese partner universities including Hokkaido University, Kyushu University, and Tsukuba University involved in this seminar.
After opening remarks by Professor Atsushi Shibayama, ICREMER director, in the first half of the seminar, Professor Yasushi Watanabe from Akita University, Professor Atsushi Shibayama, and Professor Saeid Bina from Akita University performed presentation on their recent research and future research plans. Furthermore, Mr. Malgazhdar Daniyar and Mr. Tatsuki Kurauchi, graduate students of Akita University, provided presentations and shared their current research theme.
In the second session, presentations were made by professors and researchers from overseas institutions involved in this project. The presentations were as follows:
Dr. Sereenen Jargalan (the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, Mongolia), Dr. Fidelis Suorineni (Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan), Dr. Hayrullo Hamidov and Dr. Omon Fuzaylov (Navoi State Mining Institute, Uzbekistan), Dr. Anvar Kodirov (National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Tajikistan), and Dr. Bekbolot Attokurov (Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources Development n.a academic U. Asanaliev, Kyrgyz).
