Ku Eric（クー エリック）講師が４月１日付けで資源政策コースに着任されました。
I obtained my Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan,
specializing in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL)
and Applied Linguistics. My dissertation explored the connections
between the experiences of language teachers who have taught multiple languages and
their developing professional identities. I have also published research on
translingualism and linguistic landscapes. Overall, I continue to be interested in research
that explores the connections between language and identity.
Message to Akita university students
At the end of March 2020, I moved from Taipei to Akita. For me, this
decision was not only about starting a new stage in my career but also
embracing new and exciting experiences in life. After all, isn't that what
college is about? I hope that's what college will be for you, as it was for
me. I'm happy for us to be part of each other's journey of creating
knowledge, learning new skills, and pursuing personal growth as students,
teachers, and fellow members of our academic community.
