Batnasan Altansukh（バタナサン アルタンスフ）特任講師が10月１日付けで資源開発環境学専攻に着任されました。先生はモンゴルのご出身です。
I am excited to rejoin Akita University in creating a new role as a faculty member (project lecturer) of the Department of Earth Resource Engineering and Environmental Science at the Graduate School of International Resource Sciences. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering at Tohoku University in 2011. After my graduation, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow for a year and five months at the Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University, and also for three years at Akita University. I was a specially appointed assistant professor in the New Frontier Leader Program at the Graduate School of International Resource Sciences at the Akita University between July 2016 and April 2019.
My research areas are mineral processing and extractive metallurgy (especially hydrometallurgy), wherein effective and eco-friendly processes and methods of separating commercially available minerals from their ores and extracting metals from their mineral deposits are investigated.
I look forward to working with all faculty/academic members at Akita University.
Message to Akita university students
I am looking to start the courses and experiments on the extraction of the metals from natural ores and secondary resources (electronic waste, mine tailings).
If you are interested in being a part of the courses, please let me know.
It will be a great pleasure to give you more details.
I hope you are taking a high level of ability and can play leading roles in industrial and governmental sectors globally.
