The 1st Student Activity Meeting (SAM) was held on Tuesday 26th April.

The objective of this project is to secure excellent candidates who apply to study for the doctoral program in contributing to science, technology, and innovation in the future, and implement improvements in their treatment and support for students’ career paths in the doctoral program.
In this program, Student Activity Meetings (SAM) are held once a month to provide opportunities for exchange among students and to improve their research skills.
This meeting was the first meeting of the 2022 academic year and served as a guidance for the three fellowship students who entered the program in the 2022 academic year. Under the moderation of Dr. Ikeda, Assistant Professor of the fellowship, all the fellowship students introduced themselves and got to know each other better. All students who were unable to enter Japan last year due to strict immigration restrictions were happy to be able to enter Akita University.
In addition, the fellowship students were welcomed and encouraged by the coordinator, Professor Shibayama, and the professors who hosted the students.
The next SAM is scheduled for May 31.
