After the Seminar: Group Photo

From December 12th to December 15th, 2022 – the Graduate School of International Resource Science of Akita University conducted Collaborative Social Science and Humanities Training1. In this seminar, students participated in lectures related to Social Sciences and Humanities. Topics included Mineral Economics, International Relations, Development Studies, and Energy Systems. Five students from Kyushu University and six students from Akita University participated in person while, nine students from African countries joined online. Every day was marked by informative discussions with group presentation on the final day.
 
The purpose of the seminar was to improve the understanding of sustainable resource development with a focus on Africa, and provide participants with additional opportunities to further their own research activities.
