Dept.of Earth Resource Science demands the student as described below.

1. Those who are strongly interested in the investigation of resources, resource/energy production methods, recycling, environmental maintenance, etc.
2. Those who observe things from various points of view and are eager to try in the creation of new possibilities of value
3. Those who want to realize the development of technologies and systems harmonized with the natural environment, develop environmentally-friendly resources, and contribute to the creation of a resource circulation type society.
   

Students are expected to acquire the following before entering the university.

• Sufficient ability in mathematics to improve mathematical logical thinking ability
• Use the knowledge of physics and chemistry in experiments and experiences, and deepen understanding of natural phenomena.
• Acquire the knowledge of world geology and history, and deepen the understanding of problems in international society.
