We hold Open Campus every year to help potential candidates and their guardians get a taste of life at Akita University.
We hold Akita University children’s tour days every year during the summer vacation for elementary school students and their guardians.
We run tours for elementary and junior high school students to help children get to know more about Akita University and generate an interest in the university.
The Faculty of Education and Human Studies observatory plays host to a range of astronomy events, such as nighttime stargazing for citizens.
We run children’s food and agriculture workshops for local children.
We hold regular manufacturing and science classes to help people appreciate just how fun these two areas of study can be.
On these days, visitors are welcome to come along and use the university’s facilities as long as it does not harm university events, lessons and extracurricular activities.
