Completion Ceremony of Correspondence Educational Program, Faculty of Engineering Science

 

 

 

On May 13th, Akita University held a completion ceremony for Correspondence Educational Program, Faculty of Engineering at Tegata Campus.
The program consist of general technology course, a course to study cultural knowledge of science and technology and a course to learn the basic or special study of resource, electrotechnology and other. There are many students studying for skill up of the work ability, others for part of life study. This is the only one correspondence educational program in national university authorized by MEXT, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan. Studied by wide generation all over Japan from the foundation in 1948, over 1,800 students have completed the program.
For this year, 40 students have completed the course. To the 5 students attended the completion ceremony, completion certificate was handed over.
Director of Faculty of Engineering Science, Mikio Muraoka read an address at a ceremony “We pay respect to all who made a time to study hard besides duties.” Mr. Takahashi, geoscience course answered to an address representing the students. “I would like to continue studying by reviewing what we have learned.”
